The estate of Vom Wildenlund, formerly called Wildnis Haus, is a 268-acre wilderness farm. It is nestled in the hills and valleys of the Tug Hill Plateau several miles behind historic Constableville, New York. It is graced with two ponds and two brooks. Forty acres are fields and meadows. The rest is hardwood forest. In this beautiful setting we built our kennels. We started with a 22' x 40' garage building with four runs, half inside and half outside. We now have a 22' x 60' building with 18 runs, half inside and half outside.
A training facility and overnight accommodations are presently under construction. Our new facilities will allow a trainer and dog to spend uninterrupted quality time in training. The estate is a natural environment for practicing both obedience and tracking. Because the estate is secluded, it is ideal for heavy training. The size of our estate offers much unfamiliar territory to practice search and rescue operations.
